If you have good grades, I would say to go and do the A-level route because let's just say you don't wanna be a midwife and you wanna be anything else you can have more variety with your subject choices but take that lightly because BTEC are much more simpler and if you're dead set, I want to become a midwife than do btech because it's so much more easier so much more chill. You just have to do like health and social care and applied science for that if you want a change then definitely go to your college but I tbh in my opinion i think college doesn't really like give you the tools to learn they don't really help you. They just want you to be more independent you know what I mean so if I had to refer you, I value for but I take that with a grain of salt
