Studying Alevels for uni but no GCSEs. Is that a problem?

I was at a school in Spain with no end of year exams at 16yo so dont have a certificate. Then moved to Alevels for uni which is my goal for next September. Now I see all Irish unis (also my goal) need maths and english. My mother tongue is English. Any advice? Cant get any help from CAO in Ireland!

Hello,

Did you get no certificate at all for your high school years in Spain? what academic documents did you use to enrol in sixth form? You can ask for a transcript from the school for the years that you studied there. I also did my GCSEs abroad and did the same thing and it was equivalent to UK's GCSEs, but I am not sure about the system in Spain, definitely get in contact with your school.
