Christmas holiday plans?
It feels like we just started the academic year, but winter is here and Christmas is approaching.I know most people go home for Christmas dinner and gifts, but is anyone travelling or doing extra things?
I'm already planning to go to winter wonderland for a couple times this year (hopefully)

Hi there!
I still remember the Winter a few years ago when Bath was hit by the Beast from the East which turned the whole campus into a modern winter wonderland (inaccessible by car for a whole 2-3 days, haha!)
Whether or not you choose to celebrate Christmas please do check out what events/parties/get-togethers your uni is holding - could be a very valuable chance to have a break and meet more people.
Here at Bath, we hold loads of events for international students who may be staying on campus over the Christmas period including Christmas parties/dinners, bauble painting sessions and a Christmas market in the SU!
As for my plans:

Decorate the office
•
Try to get my hands on some J2O glitterberry
•
Buy gifts for everyone, wrap gifts and make a Christmas cake at the last minute
•
Listen to Majestica: A Christmas Carol and Ajattara: Joululevy
•
Spend time with family and friends!
Daughter is coming home from uni on 12th Dec.
I finish uni for Christmas on 15th.
We're all going to Paris from 19th to 23rd for my birthday.
24th is Christmas dinner at Toby Carvery with my mam and step-dad
Xmas day and Boxing Day my mam will be at our house for meals. As usual I will be cooking.
That's is so far for plans.
