The MML Admissions Test for Cambridge

Hi there. I was wondering if anybody who has done the MML Admissions test for Cambridge could let me know whether there is a context paragraph given, regarding the extract, like there is in English tests. For example, before an extract, there may be the author, where the extract is from, the writer’s intentions. If anybody could let me know if there is this in the admissions test, I would be infinitely grateful. It isn’t in the sample questions supplied by Cambridge and I was struggling trying to ascertain what the writers were trying to persuade me to believe. Many thanks.

Heyy, I'm applying for MML this year too, and I'm pretty sure we won't be given this. Obviously not 100% sure, but as none of the past paper questions have this I'm assuming that our exam will be of the same format. How has the revision for it been for you? Also - do you know when it will be, or does it depend on the person? I saw online that it is the 19th of November but to me that seems pretty early (especially as most people still haven't gin their interview invites yet). I hope the exam goes well for you!
