As for your GCSEs relatively they can be considered quite low for Oxford but obviously everyone’s circumstances are different and maybe there is an explanation to this?

My relative passed away during my gcse season, hence my performance has been impacted.

Do you mean criteria of category 3? I believe to be eligible you need to be eligible for category 1, 2 and 3 or just category 4.

Hello everyone!
My predicteds are A* A* B (History, Economics and Maths) and I’m applying for Law
My AS Results from Y12 are A B E (though I have mitigating circumstances of eviction where I faced possible homelessness and I had health issues)
I meet all of Category 1 and category 2 and 3 factors of the criteria’s for Category 3
My PS included stuff like residential trip (specifically Slaughter and May), work experience at a different Law firm, writing articles and a competition (Bar Mock Trial)
My reference is quite strong as well.
These are just the things about me and the stuff I have on my personal statement and reference and what I’m applying for! I wanted to ask if 1. What are the chances I get an interview or an offer and 2. What else is everyone applying for and with and if there’s any other details they would like to share!
Thank you 🙏

why are you applying to the foundation year with A*A*B predicted? the entry requirements are AAA. They will just reject you as you can apply for normal undergrad.

I applied because I do meet the criteria’s, I meet all of category 1 and 2 and for category 3 I meet homelessness, FSM 6 and income below 25,000. At AS (I sat in year 12) I achieved A B E

I don't think I meet category 3, only category 1 and 2.

No she cannot. I was also predicted A*A*B and when I went on the Oxford uniq residential they said the chances of rejection for normal undergrad is so high because they don’t do equivalent grades so A*A*B is not the same as AAA. So I was told to apply for the foundation year instead.
