Studying medicine in France - would I manage?

Hi,
I would like to do medicine as a career in the future - it's one of the only things I can see myself doing and i find it all so interesting. However, my second kind of passion is French - I would love to live in France one day and work there. However it's not like there are any ways to combine the two other than going to study medicine in french at a french uni. I am in y12 right now, doing french bio chem maths and would say I'm pretty far above A level standards at the moment. If I did decide to study medicine in France, I would spend at least a year there getting fluent, and probably doing some sort of foundation medical course (i've heard it referred to as PASS0) so my knowledge in English would be transferred to French terms. I would be open too to studying in Belgium as I've heard it's slighlty less competitive? Anyway, does anyone know if this would be possible and if I could manage? Thanks!

You would have a hard time ever coming back to practice in the UK.
