finding flat share this late?

Is there anywhere people would recommend looking for flat shares with other students - anywhere in Glasgow would suit, just somewhere to stay. I've tried gumtree and spareroom and gotten barely any replies, nevermind from any students.

Before finding my place id also been using spareroom to look for people to buddy up with in the area - was also looking for places on rightmove, with it just being me was more expensive so werent that many options - but worth a look!

Also might be worth asking your uni or college about if theres anywhere they reccomend - student support will have delt with that type of thing before and might have some ideas of places (:

I understand the flat hunt can be tough, and especially this time of the year. I do think SpareRoom and Rightmove are the best places to be. I will sound a bit old-school by saying this but facebook does sometimes pop up with random room spaces across the city. I think it's definitely worth having a look for relevant groups that would be discussing flat things.

I am sure the uni can help as well, if you get through to the accommodation office https://www.gla.ac.uk/myglasgow/accommodation/ they can offer some valuable insight and advice.
