How to Find Challenging Maths Questions + Revision Tips

Hi everyone,

I’m in Year 10 and usually do well in maths tests, but I tend to lose marks on the more challenging questions towards the end. The practice questions I use don’t really include those harder ones, so I’m looking for good sources of tougher maths questions.

Does anyone know where I can find more challenging GCSE-style problems to practise? Also, if you have any revision tips or useful maths resources, I’d really appreciate it!

Thanks so much

Just find the past papers for ur exam board and do the last few questions on every paper as those are usually the hardest.

Hi!
I'm a Y10 student too so I hope this will help

I use these websites. I mainly use corbett maths and 1st class maths, but the others are good too. go to the last questions of the worksheets for the harder ones

Corbett Maths: Corbettmaths Videos, worksheets, 5-a-day and much more
GCSE maths questions: Home | Gcsemathsquestions
MME Revise (please dont buy anything off them- apparently they're useless according to my teachers lol):
GCSE Revision | MME
Cognito: Cognito Resources - Past Papers, Mark Schemes and Resources
1st Class Maths: GCSE (AQA) Revision | 1st Class Maths

Hope this helped! happy to answer any other questions

this might be controversial but I usually use Chat GPT to generate questions for me to do. But go on websites like Physics and Maths Tutor, Integral Maths, and MADAS maths. They have really good questions

Thank you so much for all your help! For context, my test is on:
Topic 12: Graphs 1
Topic 13: Solving Equations, Quadratic Algebra
Do you have any resources on this?

Hi
I do apologise this isn't a particularly useful answer, however all i can say is to find question on those topics and do them :frown:

i dont think i have personally covered these topics to the gcse level, so thats all i can say- find the topic on the websites and skip to the end for some questions

sorry i cant say much more

u can always look in exercise books, like cgp exercise books or even HKDSE books (that is the Hong Kong one, but the maths is more stimulating, which makes it more effective)
