maths work experience

How do i get work experience if i wanna do maths for uni? It doesnt seem like an easy subject to get work experience for?

Work experience isn't really required for uni unless you can say what you learnt from it and link it to skills you'll need whilst studying maths at uni. Instead, I suggest thinking about what you want to do in the future (banking, teaching, etc.) and then looking for work experience in that sector.

My brother studies maths at uni and he got some work experience in investment banks and at some energy company in the tech division for both, but work experience is really only useful when applying for spring insight weeks and things (what he told me)
