i’ve just checked the bcu entry requirements for your course and it seems that it only specifies 120 ucas point for 2026/2027 entry so i think you should be ok!
Hi there, just letting you know I changed the thread title to reflect your query.

I had a look at the Birmingham City course page for diagnostic radiography, and it is true that they do ask for 120 UCAS points via your A-levels, but they also specifically ask for BBB, and technically speaking, ABC wouldn't meet the entry requirements for a BBB course. However, it's fine to apply to an aspirational choice and maybe they are a bit forgiving of this sort of scenario (some unis are). Although I'd also suggest to try to convince your school to up your predicted grades before the UCAS deadline (January the 14th) to make sure to meet the entry requirements.

I'm not sure that the course page does ask for BBB specifically. The main text simply states, "120 UCAS Tariff points". Later on, under A-levels it states as bullet points,

"120 UCAS Tariff points from three A Levels

Grades BBB (or equivalent)"

To me, that means 120 points is fine.

ive spoke to my teacher about the grades but they said ill be fine since it still meets 120 ucas points...
I think the key part here is the "or equivalent", which suggests they''ll accept ABC or A*CC etc. BBB just seems to be given as a rough benchmark for candidates meeting the 120 point requirement via 3 AL's.
