LSE LAW Chances

Hi guys obviously I know no one can answer this for sure but I wanted to know if if I have a chance of getting into LSE law llb. I am a contextual student and have extenuating circumstances (bereavement) in terms of my GCSEs. I am predicted 3 A*s but my GCSES aren’t the best I got 888765553. I am confident that I did well on my LNAT. So hypothetically, saying I get an LNAT of around 30 alongside an outstanding personal statement, would they look at my GCSEs with lenience especially since I had extenuating circumstances or are they still too low?

I am also applying to Bristol, KCL, Nottingham and Southampton (thinking about replacing one with Warwick idk yet).

I would say that is enough to be considered for LSE - especially with the mitigating circumstances.

I would definitely apply to LSE.

I would also say your mix of uni options is also very strong.

Good luck with your application.

GCSEs aren’t such a big deal as schools have made them out to be. Obviously it’s competitive so they matter but GCSEs are considered in the context of your school. If your school average GCSE grade was lower than your mean for GCSEs then that’s seen as a positive indicator. I wouldn’t worry about it too much and obviously good luck. I’d however recommend talking to a teacher about this- is there any reason your drawn to LSE?
