Can i even try get into oxbridge

I did ok at GSCEs i got 9888888777
I plan on doing essay competitions, and am reading law books + doing online courses.
I have good grades in my A - Levels right now, but i haven't done my mocks
But is it realistic for me to try get into oxbridge/LSE

Would you regret it if you didn't apply?

No-one can answer this for you as you don't know your predicted A level grades, and you have no idea how you will do in LNAT - but GCSEs usually only form a very small part of any application assessment. For example, for Bristol, the weightings are 20% GCSEs / 40% A levels / 40% LNAT.

You have plenty of time to work on your A level grades, to go to University Open Days and think about where you want to apply and why.
