Computer Science BSc with AAB (already achieved)

Hi, wondering what the best options are for Computer Science?
I achieved AAB last year (A in maths and CS), and have work experience in mobile app development including a computer vision project.
I am also particularly interested in Data Science, pipelining etc, and even the maths part.

Is it worth applying for universities requiring AAA?
Should I look for Computer Science with Mathematics or other related degrees?
Any universities that stand out for facilities, course content and employment/internship chance? I am currently looking at Liverpool, Lancaster,Exeter,Dundee amongst a few others.

Any help would be fantastic

Yes, it's worth applying to unis requiring AAA when your grades are AAB. I applied to Queen Mary, Lancaster and Exeter for CS and got offers from all 3, only QMUL required AAA tho rest ABB, youll get offer for ABB at Lancaster as you have maths and cs. good luck bro

Hello, Absolutely! It's always best to try to get a range of offers with different grades. Look for maybe a couple above AAB, a couple at it and at least one below as a possible insurance.

With your grades you should get an offer from Lancaster if you applied, your experience will definitely help!
We have quite a few options here, I am on a 4-year MSci Computer Science degree, but we also have Software engineering and cybersecurity courses all with the same year 1 if you are unsure. There is also a Computing & Maths degree and a Data science one.

The facilities here are great, we have most of our lectures in the newly extended management school and the theatres are very nice. There is also InfoLab which is full of computer Labs that are really nice to be in and look great. There are chances for internships/experience, one of the main reasons I chose my course is because in my 4th year I get a 10-week work experience alongside a masters. There are also a few career fairs and the careers department seems quite good.

Happy to answer any further questions,
Zak (2nd year Computer Science)
