University of Dundee vs University of Aberdeen for MSc Computer Science / IT ?

Hey everyone!
I’m trying to decide between the University of Dundee (MSc Computer Science) and the University of Aberdeen (MSc Information Technology) for Jan 2026 intake.

I’m from a non-CS background but have done a few Python/Django projects and really want a course that’s career-focused, helps build real tech skills, and is manageable with part-time work.

How are these two unis in terms of:
• Teaching quality and practical learning
• Internship / placement support
• Graduate job opportunities in Scotland or UK tech companies

Would love to hear from current students or alumni - especially anyone who studied Comp Sci or IT there! 🙏
