I keep seeing this one guy around my college all the time.

Recently I have been seeing this specific guy around my college, whenever I'm with my friends he always seems to be passing by me or just in the same building as me. I go to quite a big college so I might just be overthinking it, but I have seen him around so many times that I'm starting to think it isn't a coincidence I keep seeing him. For example, one of my classes finished early and I decided to walk around my college and I walked past the library completely oblivious to the fact he was sat at one of the computers facing the windows that overlook the corridors and I made eye contact with him and I immediately broke eye contact because every time we make eye contact I get a weird feeling inside of me. I kept walking around until my friend texted me asking to meet her and I walked back past the library and he was still sat there and we made eye contact AGAIN, but this time we kept eye contact for a few seconds till we both looked away. And another time I was with my friend outside of the college cafeteria and I was eating some food before my lesson started and he walked out of the cafeteria by himself holding a water bottle and we made eye contact and I broke eye contact because I got nervous. I guess what I'm trying to say is I keep seeing him in my college all the time and he is mostly with this other guy who I'm assuming is his best friend and every time I do see him we always see to make eye contact, I haven't spoken to him before but we always see each other at the same place and every time I walk past him, him and his friend stop talking and go silent whenever I pass by them. Is this normal? Am I overthinking it? Is it a coincidence we keep seeing each other? What is going on?

If you know anyone who knows him as a friend you could ask them if they've heard anything.
Also that's so cute.
Try and make friends with him first if you're in any of his classes.

Try a smile next time. And the time after that, ‘we seem to keep bumping in to each other, how about going for a coffee sometime’

I know one person who is in one of my classes who may know him as I have seen them together!! However, I'm too scared to ask the person as it might come off as weird. Thank you 🙂
I will try but it is hard as we are not in the same classes :frown:

I will definitely try and give him a smile next time, I'm just too scared what if he does not smile back? I feel like asking that may come off as weird or he may think that I'm stalking him (which I'm NOT). I'm also not sure if he has a girlfriend I don't want to ask him to meet for a coffee and then find out he has a girlfriend lol. Thank you for the advice though

Most people appreciate a smile 😊
Maybe you’ll bump in to him in a social situation sometime, where it’s easier to judge the lie of the land

I agree 🙂
Maybe I will bump into him in a social situation. He doesn't seem like the type of guy to have a girlfriend (not in a rude way), he seems very quite and he is always hanging out with this one other guy which is making me assume that he may not have a girlfriend but it is a little TOO early to tell.

In my first three months of uni (a few years ago) I kept running into this same girl over and over again. Insane number of times and situations. She was in one of my classes, so we'd kind of acknowledge each other, but we never had a conversation. I was kind of worried she might think I was stalking her. After that year was over I never saw her again. Not once.

That is kind of my situation however we don't have any classes together and he has a few months left till he leaves college. I saw him again today with his friend and I completely missed him because I was looking down at my phone ☹️
Him and his friend actually stopped after walking past me and I watched them talk then look over at me then leave.
I'm scared that If I don't say anything I will end up never seeing him again.

Just do it. And let the eye contact linger just a little bit longer than usual!
