Bursary Sixth Form

Hi, I go to sixth form and I recieve bursary of £200 a year. This is paid every few months in different amounts. Yesterday, £75 was due to be paid, and the first bursary payment was 1 day early. The bursary form said that I was to keep good attendance according to a learning agreement (which for some reason was not sent to my email like they said it would be) to continue recieving it, and my attendance has dropped to about 55%, due to me having to take care of a sick parent. I have had a meeting with the head of my course to talk about this, but I understand I may not be recieving the bursary, but I would like to know if there is a way for me to check if I am going to recieve it, and if there is not a way to find out, can someone give me their judgement on if I will recieve it or not? I cannot afford to continue going to college without it.

You honestly need to ask them, you have undertaken caring responsibility which was an extenuating circumstance to you attending college, you should not be denied this nursery, I had the same situation however, I am a registered and legal carer to my guardian so I was more protected legally, I would definitely speak to your favourite teacher, preferably a learning support manager or form tutor but any you trust, I shouldn't think this will be an issue as the reason was genuine

I spoke to them thank you and they said they have now authorised the payment. Do you know how long it usually takes afterwards?
