Paying for access creative college course

If I apply for a course at access creative college at age 18, will I still have to pay for the course as I will turn 19 on my 2nd year. This is also assuming I did my a level exams

Hi @oily-dump,

Yes, you will most likely still have to pay for the second year of your course even if you turn 19 during that year. Fees are usually based on your age at the start of the academic year, so turning 19 midway doesn’t usually change anything.

If you’re concerned about funding, you might want to check if you’re eligible for any student loans, bursaries, or grants—they can sometimes help with courses like those at Access Creative College. You can contact the college’s admissions or finance office directly to confirm exact details.

If it is an Access to Higher Education course that you are taking, then you might be eligible for an Advanced Learner Loan:

I’m not sure about Access Creative College but some courses are charged by level not age for level 3 qualifications
