Why does Instagram allow promotion of porn even though it's an app for teens 13+?

Many unrelated reels and posts have women promoting their OnlyFans as the pinned comment. I've seen celebrities, including a former child actor openly promote their onlyfans there. Should this really be allowed, considering the 13yo audience?

Hey, ads are tailored to your age, while some ads may get through regardless 18+ restricted ads won't be shown to people whose age is registered under 18 on the app,
Most ad censorship and sorting are now automated by ai, so many slips can happen, best thing is to report them and then usually if that same company tries to run an ad again it'll be flagged and either human validated or immediately rejected.
