Hi there,

I know it can feel really discouraging when you’ve tried a few agencies and still haven’t had much luck you’re definitely not the only one!

A lot of students don’t tend to use agencies unless there’s one linked to their uni (like Unitemps, if your campus has it), so it might be worth checking whether that’s available to you.

It’s also worth reaching out to your careers team or booking a quick 1-to-1 appointment they usually have local employer contacts or online platforms (like Handshake) with student-friendly job listings.

Right now, there are loads of seasonal roles being advertised on sites like Indeed, TotalJobs, and Jobs.ac.uk some of these can even turn into permanent positions if things go well.

And when you’re out and about, keep an eye on shop windows lots of places still advertise part-time roles that way, and dropping off your CV in person can make a great impression.

Hope that helps!
