Same, don't understand why they said 1800-1900 is what they consider competitive on their website. I got 2030 and they said it wasn't competitive 😭😭

does anyone know what the threshold is?

Just got rejected with Ucat of 2030 SJT 1, 8/9s at GCSE.
Was advised 7th decile Ucat would be ok (as per last year) but clearly threshold is higher this year. Not devastated as was 4th choice but a bit surprised.
Best of luck to all of you still waiting. 💪🏻🍀

my sons first choice was manchester, he got 2040 A/A/A* predicted and has a 4th A at A-level (home language) and was rejected. I am afraid it will be the same for his other choices. Have standards just gone up a lot since last year, or just the sheer number of applicants this year. I am worried he wont get in anywhere, which seems unfair for the amount work he has put in already.

Where else has he applied? It’s a really solid score and I am sure he will get interviews. I know it’s disappointing not to even get an interview for somewhere you really want to go to.

Sorry to hear that but I bet you will get into the best school for you though their loss. Were you non contextual?

if u guys have reddit, check the ucat subreddit, they’ve sent SO many rejections to people with really high ucat scores and gcses and predicteds they’ve gotta have some errors because someone in the 2400s even got rejected ??
