For GCSEs, points were awarded according to the number of A*s achieved atGCSE (subject is not considered). Less than 5 scored 0, 5 scored 10, 6 scored 20, 7scored 30, 8+ scored 40. Scores were adjusted according relevant to the quintileGCSE attainment of the school. If the school performance was one of the lowest twoquintiles then we also counted A grades achieved at GCSE towards the A* countmentioned above. For schools in the 3rd quintile, each A grade is consideredequivalent to 0.5 of an A*. For schools in the top two quintiles, no adjustment ismade.”

Is this true for kings college dentistry ? My school is quintile 2 but im not eiligible for k plus program so ig not contextual

You can usually provide the official summary of results - A4 sheet from school listing exam boards and results but idk what Kings have requested . Otherwise you can ask exam boards but I don’t know how long that takes or how much £

I was doing that in April and I think it takes me about 3-4 weeks to get a hard copy from them. But I live overseas so I don't know whether this would be faster if in UK.

hi everyone, i’m a current first year kcl med student, having been in your positions this time last year! i still vividly remember spending hours obsessively scrolling through tsr during interview season and overthinking anything anyone said on here 😭
if you have any questions about applying or the course/university itself feel free to ask me on here or by dm and i’ll try my best to answer! just bear in mind i won’t answer questions relating to things like what i was asked in my interviews for hopefully obvious reasons. also please don’t ask me if your grades/ucat are good enough because i honestly have no idea, especially since ucat has changed.
good luck with your applications!!

What’s the chance of a contextual WP applicant getting interview with mid UCAT and maxed stats
