Is my friend into me?

I've been friends with this lad for a year. We have a playful friendship with a lot of banter, but that is just the type of person I am and I'm like that with all my friends. We were watching a movie and he was complimenting my eyes saying they are pretty, put his arm around my shoulder for the entire movie after moving a seat closer to me, ticked my shoulder/stomach and extended his hand further down my arm he would take his arm off at time to get a snack etc, but would put it back, putting his hands through my hair which he complimented, tickling my side, played with my necklace and he also put his hand on my lower back for a few minutes. He asked while his arm was around me and while making eye contact if I'm involved with many guys WTH. He even told me a few wks ago that he thought my friend was cute and his type, but before the movie he said she's cute, but I don't have a crush. Was he testing my reaction to see if I'd be jealous. He was also asking me if I mess around with many guys. I asked him while his arm was around me if he would have asked my friend out and he said maybe which was so confusing considering what was going on. How did I go from watching a movie with my friend to this? :frown:
