looking for help with Personal Statement + reviewing?

Hello, I'm looking for ways to get feedback on my personal statement as I felt a bit stuck. The feedback I got from school wasn't the most helpful as it was a bit vague. Someone from the year above said that they were able to get feedback from Caledonian Uni, but I don't know if that is still an available option, or where to find the help. Any advice would be great :biggrin:

I would suggest finding people older than who have perhaps gone through the same application process/applied to the same course previously and ask for their advice. Ask class teachers/ heads of year if you haven't already. If there are any platforms that you use that aid you university application etc use that. I have a mentoring programme with university students and the person is like your 'mentor' and I asked them advice on how to improve my personal statement. You could try things like Zero Gravity which also offer mentoring on a secure platform too

How long does it usually take for the review to be made and sent back? The deadline my school set for personal statements to be done and sent is earlier than the final deadline for other schools.

Covered in the first post of the linked thread, they aim for 5 working days. Any delays or backlogs are usually reported in the most recent posts there.
