Why do I get panic attacks easily

When I was in school recently my best friend just touched me not inappropriately just a tap on my shoulder then I immediately started to have a panic attack in the middle of the class and this was drama class so the teacher thought it was just acting and this friend has touched me many time before so am I being childish?

well ngl I don't really know why you would have a panic attack if this person has done the same in the past so yeah it does seem childish. The only thing I can think off is if you were very stressed and overstimulated at the time, maybe that was a final straw for you?

Hey, honestly I don't think so. That's happened to me a lot as well, except that the first time it happened I was in the middle of assembly...😬
What I had to do was insert no-physical-contact-no-matter-what boundaries with all my friends and family, and while that was hard to grasp for some of my friends, it definitely got easier. I still have panic attacks but I've learned that they're just a perfectly okay reaction that your body has to certain environments and it's perfectly valid. I don't think it's childish at all.
