MOCKS!!!

hi guys i have a huge concern basically my mocks start next week wednesday on the 19th and i have barely started revision for the subjects that i need to do well the most (maths, history and bio). im really stressed to the point i feel like i js cant do anything at all. everyone else around me is already finished with all the content and im still learning. last year these were my y10 mock grades

bio-6
chem-5
physics-6
eng lit-9
eng lang-8
maths -8
re-9
sociology-9
history-5

and i really want to get

english literature : 9
english language : 8
maths : 9
bio : 8
chem : 8
physics : 9
re : 9 (full marks)
sociology : 9
history : 7
im honestly not worried abt re,english or sociology but im so worried abt history maths and the sciences because its rlly content heavy and i js feel like im not good at any of them😞 any advice for literally any of the named subjects would help sm!!!

Okie so this is my suggestion. Sometimes it is really hard to do revision because it feels like there is loads. What I would say is when your stressing when you should be revising start with something small eg a seneca lesson. It helps me get motivation to do something bigger eg practise questions and if it don't get motivation, worst comes to the worst I did a small bit of revision. Set yourself a timer eg 30mins and try your best (and don't stress if its not productive that's okay) to stay focused. For maths I would say try to do some questions: maths genie, corbett maths, first class maths etc. You can watch question videos and try to do the questions as before them and watch how they do it.

hope that helps and good luck with your mocks, you'll smash em xx

its okay, u still have a week! just organise ur revision into which mock u have first
try use bcc bitesize because its good for short notes and little quizzes
i'd watch a lot of youtube videos and make notes on them then at the end do small practice papers and build up to past papers
you can do it!
also u do sociology too?? literally the first person ive seen to do it

you've still got time trust me. take it easy and plan your revision out ahead. make notes for subjects you're less confident in thats important. use senecalearning for the sciences theyre pretty good and scienceshorts. last year i got tuition for history, maths and the sciences from these guys in the year above me at school - if you want lmk and i can put them in touch with you (it was like 20 quid so not very cheap but i ended up getting 9s so it helped).

i personally would recommend doing past papers and practice questions for maths and i don’t know if this is a usually recommended revision technique for science but i get my textbook and basically write out as much as possible in my own words and do all of the equations and stuff, also for history i would say do timelines because i know even though its an essay subject if you don’t know the course you can’t really answer so id say just try and know chronologically the events. I’m doing my chem mock tomorrow and im kinda scared ngl
