I’m looking for BA or degree courses that offer strong musical theatre training (singing, dancing, acting) and also real film or screen acting for camera, all within one course. Do any top drama schools or universities do this? Would love recommendations or real experiences! 🎤🎬

Have you considered one of Manchester School of Theatre courses. Our BA (Hons) Acting course has an equal emphasis on screen and stage acting, and is more conservatoire, industry training for actors.
We also offer the BA (Hons) Drama and Contemporary Performance course, which focuses is on innovative creative practice, so making, studying and performing innovative theatre and performance. This programme is naturally more practical than theoretical (about 70/30).
Take a look at our course webpages and if you can, we have an undergraduate open day on Saturday, 22nd November 2025. If you can make it, it'd be worthwhile as you will be able to chat with the School of Theatre academics and current students, as well as a subject talk and facilities tour.
