According to your signature, you have 5 offers and 1 rejection. Why would you want to go through extra? Those uni's you chose are good!

I looked at UCAS extra last year, there are some uni's offering CS such as Manchester, Liverpool, etc... Just wait until march and you will see. In addition, the offers won't be lowered.

I'm not sure if I would go through UCAS Extra. Just interested in whether I could get a better offer or not. I guess I'll have to wait and see...

If you can meet the requirements and quite happy with the choice you made in the 6 uni's/courses, I would stay with those instead of going through Extra.

I think I'll probably end up with making City my firm choice and Kingston my insurance. However, while I'm thinking about it, anyone know what Goldsmiths is like for Computer Science? I couldn't get much info out of them at their open day for some reason...
I think making City firm and Kingston insurance is a good choice. If I were you, I would put Goldsmiths as insurance, but it's up to you.

You could have a look at goldsmith's site for more information. I'm quite surprised that their entrance requirements are medicore. I thought it would be BBB and above, since it's part of the University of London. http://www.goldsmiths.ac.uk/booklets/computing-ug.pdf

The problem about putting Goldsmiths as an insurance is that my offer from City is based on points and I already have a grade E in AS-level History. That means I would need grades BBC to meet my offer at City - the same that is required by Goldsmiths. I don't think it would be a good idea to put down a firm choice and an insurance with the same grades because if I were to not be accepted by one I would not be accepted by both. Don't think Goldsmiths is very good for Computer Science anyway. Their RAE is 3b and City's is 4 plus I looked in Goldsmiths prospectus and saw a load of iMac's.
Fair enough, it's up to you really. I thought 300 points is equivalent to 3 B's. I'm sure Goldsmith's also have PC's though. I think the iMacs are for designing, movies, and stuff like that. I'm assuming that the RAE score of 3b is computer science.

300 is equivalent to 3 B's but City allow you to include an AS grade in there too so I only need to get grades BBC (or equivalent) to get in there.

Goldsmiths probably do have PC's but showing off their Mac's doesn't create a good impression in my opinion.
Ok then. The entrance requirements for City is not that bad then. I hope I applied there, nevertheless they don't do my course.
