Careers with an Economics Bsc

Hi,
I am looking at studying Economics Bsc.
My predicted A Levels are Economics (A*), Geography (C), Physics (C).
As I haven't studied Maths A Level and I don't have the higher predicted grades, I am looking at uni's such as Greenwich, Kent and Portsmouth.
I would like to get into Investment Banking, as an Analyst, but from what I have read on here it doesn't seem likely from one of these Uni's.
So my question is what career path/s should I be considering instead?

If I were you I’d really lock in for a - level, hopefully you could then get AAB or above in the actual exams and then take a year and work or build ur cv and then apply grades in hand for the following year

The problem is that the uni's that ask for the higher grades also require Maths A Level, which I am not studying.

Just remember that many graduates go into careers that are not directly related to their degree subject. Employers value the 'higher thinking skills' that all graduates have and often the actual degree subject is not important.

There are thousands of career paths open to you - and there will still be other ways of working in the Banking industry if you actually still want to do that when you graduate. If you can, pick a degree with a placement, work-experience, or study abroad - this will make you a much more attractive candidate to any employer and it can often lead directly to you first job.

There are lots of Unis that will accept a sensible GCSE Maths grade instead of A level Maths.
Check Reply 6 on this thread - Can I do economics degree without a level maths? - The Student Room - the info is a few years old so double-check on each Uni's own website.

Your bigger problem is your inconsistent predicted grades of A*CC. For Unis asking for specific grades, an A* does not 'even out' two C grades and that is going to probably going to limit you to applying only to UCAS points Unis - 120 UCAS points - and these are the sort of Unis that actually wont require Maths A level anyway.

I agree that some uni's don't require A Level Maths to study Economics Bsc, but alongside this all of the ones I've come across don't require high grades. So if I did manage to achieve AAB for example, it doesn't seem it would open up any further Uni's.
