Can't drop a class but no other option
My higher photography class is so bad it's unbelievable, the prelim is 7th of January but we've only done 1 past paper and our teacher had a go at the class for not knowing anything when he hadn't taught us anything? Out of 30 the average in the class was under 10. For the main project it wasn't explained at all before the holidays started and we had to do a photoshoot. At this point I was ahead in class but once my teacher actually got around to looking at my photos he said that none of them were usable despite only looking at the first couple. He made me redo my whole theme so know I need to redo my entire plan and I redid the photoshoot just for him to only look at the first 20 photos out of 80 that I took and nitpick everything even though I did exactly what he told me to do. I now have to redo absolutely everything and im behind everyone else in the class whom of which are already behind according to him. He's had a go at me for not bringing the school camera in because I've had it for over a month now but he's the one that makes me keep it. I asked everyone in the class how they felt and every single person wants to drop it because they do not know what they ate supposed to be doing. I need 2 As at higher and my 2 other classes are predicted at A's but I can't take a study during this because I already have a study block and its too late to join another class. I've been advised to now see the head of the department and speak to him but honestly idk if I can go on. Also once this teacher called my friend a 'bad girl' and told us to punish her which was just very weird and awkward for everyone. I'm going to email the head of department and see if I can continue the course but if I could do it outside of the class environment as I'm autistic so hopefully that works but I feel so bad for everyone in the class...does anyone know what to do???
