Architecture BA

Hi, I really want to do architecture at uni but a lot of universities require AAA or AAB (my predicted is ABB), so I want to have at least one option as a foundation as my back up that I can definitely get into. Does anyone know the best unis for architecture with a foundation year?

Hi there!

I am currently a student at the university studying clinical psychology, but here is some information about the Architecture course we have. Reading’s BSc Architecture is a three-year, professional route, with a typical offer of ABB. Entry normally includes an interview and a portfolio. Teaching is studio-based with dedicated design studio space and strong practical facilities (modelmaking, 3D printing, laser cutting, workshops), and the course is ARB-prescribed and RIBA-validated. If you don’t meet direct entry, Reading runs an International Foundation pathway that can guarantee progression if you pass. In addition, if you set Reading as a firm choice, i believe you are accepted even if you do not meet the offer.

I hope that helps,

Hibah.
