Cambridge HSPS interviews

Hi everyone!

I’ve applied to Cambridge this year for HSPS (Human, Social and Political Sciences), and I was wondering if there are any students who have done interviews for this course in previous years (ideally successful applicants) who could share some advice about what to expect.
- Do interviewers ask questions based on your personal statement?
- What kind of questions do they tend to ask? Are they more about your reasons for choosing Cambridge, or are they focused on the course content itself?
- I haven’t formally studied any of the three disciplines before, would that put me at a disadvantage?
- And finally, do they ask about your written work?

I haven’t received an interview invitation yet, but I’d like to be prepared since I know they tend to come through at the last minute.

Thank you so much!
