Imperial MiM vs LBS MFA vs Cambridge REF – best for alternative asset management?

Hey everyone,

I’m hesitating between three programmes: Imperial College MiM, LBS MFA, and Cambridge MPhil in Real Estate Finance.

My goal is to work in asset management, ideally focusing on alternative investments (real assets, infra, private markets).
Cambridge is my dream school and I love the MPhil structure, but I’m afraid it might be too niche compared to LBS or Imperial, which seem more directly linked to finance roles in London.

Which one do you think would offer the best career prospects for someone aiming at alternative AM in the UK or globally?

Would love to hear thoughts from current students or alumni of these programmes 🙏

Thanks!
