How do I get the Combined Higher Mocks?

I have an issue: due to my poor mental health, my attendance was bad in y9 and y10, leading to me not completing most tests. Due to this, this school year (Year 11) I have been put down for Combined Foundation Science Mocks. Since year 7 I have been studying Triple Higher Sciences, and I know that Combined Foundation would be extremely limiting for me and I'm capable of more. How do I convince my teachers to put me down for the Combined Higher Mocks? My school doesn't pay for them, so it shouldn't even be an issue, but here I am.

i would say maybe talk to your head of year or maybe idk if you have one but like a slt link for your year group or even just the head of your science department, explain your problem and show them that you can put in the work. i’m in year 11 doing triple science rn (chem mock tommorow) and yeh it’s hard but if you’ve been in that set since year 7 i believe you can do it!!

I did email my head of science but she was quite rude about it (likely since she doesn't know my situation. I'm planning on speaking to my head of learning tomorrow, so hopefully that goes well. I would've liked to do triple higher but combined higher is better than foundation at least, so if I can get that I'll be happy.
