Hi. I do Sociology (AQA) and Geography (Also AQA not Edexcel)
Any questions ask.
@agent_duck343 does Edexcel A-Level Geography though. Hopefully they can answer exam board specific questions.

Hello, I did sociology :wavey:

I recommend doing active recall to remember the content- this can involve flashcards, blurting, mindmaps etc. Doing regular exam practice is also important. You can do essay plans and also answer full questions under timed conditions. Hope this helps!

I did two of those a-levels (spanish and geo) 😊 I think same exam boards as well.

For Spanish I would say getting the basics down is really important. Make sure you're strong on the tenses and verb conjugations. For vocab I stuck things all around my house labelling them in Spanish and this helped. Reading Spanish books I already knew in English worked like Harry Potter. Podcasts, tv shows, films and music is an immersive way to improve your listening and vocab. Listening to slower and older music is better though as artists like Rosalia and Bad Bunny can be too fast or accented to grasp as non native. You could follow Spanish celebs you like on social media as seeing their posts and captions regularly helps. Cinemas sometimes have international showings so you could look if there are nay Spanish movies showing in your area to go see.

For geography, its heavy on learning the cases studies and throwing in facts and dates every now and then to back up your points so make a bunch of flashcards for each case study and before exams, make sure you've got facts and statistics ready in your head to drop in here and there. Reading over your past exams helps a lot too to see what kind of stuff you need to improve on or frequently forget.

Hope this helps and let me know if theres anything else you wanna know 😊
