Confusion over fee status "EU/EEA Pre/Settled Scotland Rate fee rate"

Hi!
My girlfriend has applied to Edinburgh for vet med and biology as a backup, just got her conditional offer for bio and fee status showing her as receiving a Scotland Rate, which we can only imagine means paying the £1820 rather than the typical RUK £9250. She is Polish and moved to England at the age of 2 so has spent 15 years here living around Manchester. Never lived in Scotland though so we are confused as to why she has been awarded Scotland Rate. Is this a normal thing given to EU students since Brexit?? Do we need to email in and sort it out?? Hopefully not as we've talked about it and the extra money saved on fees could be used to maintain a car over the length of the course.
Can't help but feel a little jealous as I'm over here as a born and bred Englishman having to pay my £9250 🤭
Thanks in advance for any help

Sounds like she would be liable for the RUK fees from what you say.

It could be a mistake on either side. I’d get it sorted to be honest as they will catch up with her, nothing surer then it would be more painful.
