Hey everyone! I'm super anxious about UCL since I applied with a 2170 band 1, which is pretty risky. The wait is gonna be a long one, so let's keep each other updated and support each other through this!

Thanks for creating the thread. My daughter applied with a similar score (2180 B1 noncontextual). Fingers crossed, we get an invite.

Planned interview dates for UCL are from 9 December to 3 March (excluding February and Christmas break), with in-person interviews for home applicants, and in February 2026, via Zoom for international applicants.

Has anyone received any interview offers yet? If the first date id 09.12.2025, I would assume that the first batch of interview offers will go out by next week?

Reply 4

I saw someone on reddit with a score of 2570, DK if genuine but it would make sense with that score.

Reply 5

Yes, saw that too. Apart from that, I haven’t seen any others yet.

Reply 6

It looks like UCL is indeed sending invites. There are now a few posts on other websites... 2290 is the lowest score I've seen so far.

Reply 7

Someone I know got an interview invite today. (They have an v high UCAT score).

Reply 8

Do they send an email if they invite you to interview, or put it on your portal? Scared I'll miss it if I do get one. 😬

Congrats @frances2022!

It would be helpful for everyone if you could add your UCAT score and band, and whether you are home, contextual, or international.

posted this somewhere else as well but...
2800 was their cut off last year (they said this on open day)
2800 from last year is comparable to 2125 this year so you should get an interview. I only got 2160 b2 (2856 compared to last year which is almost bang on the average applicant for last year)
calc here: https://www.theukcatpeople.co.uk/medical-schools/ucat/how-universities-use-the-ucat

may be cope but it seems fine to me

did you get an interview and if so, when is it?

Hi, I was just wondering about my probability of getting an interview for ucl med, I am a home and contextual (Access UCL). For GCSE's, I achieved 9,9,8,8,8,8,7,7,6,6,6,6 and predicted AAA for chem, bio and maths respectively(I feel like my predicted and GCSE might weigh me down, although i meet the AAB contextual offer), I also achieved 2150 b1 in UCAT.
Thank you in advance
