LAE Stratford and NCS area?

hi, i was wondering if the area around LAE Stratford and NCS (so like north london i'm assuming?) is safe, especially in the winter months, because i go to school in greater london so don't know much about central london. also, is the commute worth it if i was to attend these schools? thanks!!

I would say it's safe during school hours and even 2-3 hours after in the winter months. LAES and NCS is more like East London btw, and the commute is definitely worth it for these specific schools (I'm applying this year so I'm not 100% sure about the actual outside areas of the schools, but the overall areas are quite safe)

LAES is really close to Stratford Westfield shopping centre, so thats like a good way of knowing there'll be a packed SAFE place full of shops and people near by.

NCS is near a few other sixth forms, so most people you see around there are typically either students/teachers or people who live in the area.

gonna be brutally honest, but no actually, these sixthforms are in east london and i can guarantee to you east london isnt very safe. i've SEEN a stabbing during school hours. both LAES and NCS are within the same area and same borough so like yh not very very worth the travel if youre from greater london somewhere else. pickpockets are also very very common in this area too,
