Is 630 characters too short for question 3 on my personal statement?

I have used too many characters in my first two questions and don’t have a lot to say in the third one. But is 630 characters enough? Sorry if this post is too short, I rarely use TSU.

This really depends on the universities you are applying to; LSE says it's fine to write a minimum of 350 words for Q3. 630 is enough as emphasis will be placed on Q1 and Q2.

Thank you. If it helps, I am aiming specifically to go to York, but the other unis that I have been applying to are Lancaster, Newcastle, QMUL, and Bangor.

Universities read your personal statement as one cohesive piece of writing, so the character length doesn't really matter per question as long as you get your ideas across and balance what you say out.

As long as you're satisfied with the content, it's fine; you don't want to go on a tangent in your personal statement. All the best for York
