would it be too late to do ib maths sl ai

hi i got a 8 in gcse math but i started school a bit late like 3 weeks due to some issues and when i did start i did rughly around 3 weeks of ibdp and i switched due to some personal issues i was having and now im considering doing ib dp again and theres only a few subjects i have to catch up on since im doing 5 subjects all thats l need to catch up on is math and film, so could i get anyones advice, plus i have a 1 month break in december so i could prob catch up in that time

You should be totally fine. Im currently doing Maths SL AI (and got a similar grade to you in GCSE) and the only thing i've found a little bit challenging is getting used to a graphics calculator. If you find some yt clips and topics you missed, they'll show you how to use the calculator so you should be able catch up easily. Idk if your curriculum is the same but it would definitely be similar, just check with the teacher what topics you did so far. :smile:
