Im trying to figure out what a levels I need to study psychology or counselling

I'm scared about submitting the a level options I have to my school because I don't know if I can get into any psychology or counselling uni courses with them.

From what I've got from my expected predictions so far I can do psychology but not biology or any other science and mainly because of my expected GCSE predicted maths grade ( from 5- low 6) and I don't think I'll get the grades I need to apply for the core science or maths needed by unis and I don't know what to choose now.

I've thought of choosing psychology, English, sociology, politics (A level) or BTEC health and social care. But I highly doubt any will help me get into a uni for a psych course ( I think English would and obviously psychology) can anyone help me with what to do (and is there any apprenticeships I could take instead?) I don't mind being in any counselling or psychology job (as long as it's decent in pay lol) I don't really want to be a teacher 😭 I want to be someone who can talk or help others weather it'll be in the office space or clinically 😊 I'm really scared about my November mock results 😔

Do you know what the entry requirements for biology and psychology are at the colleges/sixth forms you are applying to?

I would advise having a look at some university courses that you are interested in and the entry and subject requirements for those courses.

I think you would be best talking to your teachers (especially biology) about how you are worried about this, and they may be able to provide you with some more support.
