Year 12 Resits

Is there anyone who is resitting year 12 or previously have resat year 12, specifically for subjects: Biology, chemistry and maths?
What were the reasons you were resitting?( I understand if you don't want to mention it)
What was your experience like?
Was it worth it?
Did you switch any of your subjects when you retaked?

My son is resitting and to be honest - he is much happier. His father left us so it was a difficult time for him but having all that stress out of the way meant he could re-focus and got predicted A*'s/A's so it was worth resitting.

It's not embarrassing to resit, the second time of learning means you do understand the content better and have a clearer vision of your goals. Year 12 can be such a rush, so by resitting you do things at a steady pace. I would say it was worth it for him at least. 🙂
