Study dentistry in Romania

Hi I am currently in a gap year and I am interested in studying dentistry in Romania or Bulgaria. There is already a lot of information about studying in Bulgaria as there are many students from the UK who go there but there is not much information about Romania.

the two universities in Romania that I am interested in are Ovidius University of Constanța and University of Medicine & Pharmacy Craiova.

I have many questions and queries about studying in Romania that if answered, would help me in making my decision going forward:

- management of patients in clinics - I know that in Bulgaria you have to find your own patients when in comes to practicing your practical skills in clinics. I was wondering if this is the same case when studying in Romania? or does the university find patients for you?

- do they offer scholarships for students who are non-eu (I am from the uk)? if so what kind fo scholarships do they offer and what do they tend to cover (tuition/ living costs/ merit-based)? and what are the requirements to get these kinds of scholarships?

- how much does it cost to for the application process if you are applying without an agency? and what is the application process like?

- what is the diploma you will recieve at the end of your dentistry studies or title? is it anything like diplomă de licență / diploma de licenţă de medic dentist / doctor-medic stomatolog as stated in the Annex listing on the GDC website?

- is there a large number of international students enrolled in particular from the uk?

- I didn't study A-level biology but I did study chemistry (grade C), gcse I got 7's in bio and chem, is that enough to hit the requirments to study dentistry in Romania? I am also in a gap year at the moment working as a trainee dental nurse so I have that work exerperience aspect.

- is there a way I can find more students from the uk who study in romania so that I can contact them directly and ask more questions to get a better idea?

- are there entrance exams to take? if so what are they like in terms of knowledge level and how can I revise for them best?
