Irish National uk maintainance loan
HI,
I hope to start GEM in the UK next September, I have qualified for home fees as an Irish national, can I apply for a maintainance loan or just tuiition fee help from SFE? Also, do I apply to student finance now, or next year?

Applications will not launch until February/March 2026 for the 2026/27 academic year? How long have you lived in the UK?

Thanks, this shouldn't be a problem in terms of you receiving the Tuition Fee Loan.
However, to be eligible for the Maintenance Loan you'd need to have lived in the UK for 3 years prior to the start of the course.
Have you lived in the UK at any point in your life?
