MSt in Practical Ethics at Oxford

Hi! I'm applying to 2026 entry for MSt in Practical Ethics at Oxford and was curious about whether I would have a chance at being accepted. I will graduate in 2026 with an Honours Bachelor of Arts from UofT (GPA is expected to be 3.6-3.7/4.0) I have a double major in Philosophy of Science and Drama. I have worked a bunch of random jobs during uni, and was part of various student clubs and newspapers (including being the president of one club). I also have an Internship with a theatre company. Any insight into the application expectations would be great! thanks

This isn’t accurate, especially for MSt programmes. Oxford assesses post-grad applications holistically. Academic results are important and there is a clear threshold, but they’re far from the only thing considered.

Admissions place significant weight on the clarity of research interests, fit with the programme, references, writing samples and relevant professional or applied experience.
