Hi everyone, I've been in my current role for about two years now, and while I'm still relatively junior in terms of tenure, I've been fortunate enough to receive the Employee of the Year award out of 1000+ colleagues, along with a number of other recognitions for my contributions. In procurement, I've delivered over 50% savings (beyond top result) on many projects and even completed an apprenticeship with top 1 results in a group. I've also developed tools that have benefited the company (on top of y work).
However, I've found that internal opportunities for growth just aren't opening up (as the new management hires people they used to work with), which is why I'm looking externally. It's been a tough ride facing rejections, and sometimes the feedback post interview doesn't feel very constructive. I've applied to about 50 roles, having tailored my CV for each role - only recieved 2 interview, which I failed. The feedback I recived has been insane - example: not enough eye contact while speaking or he sometimes repeated himself twice.
I have lost motivation and hope. I earn below national average living in London working my ass off for the company.... even often doing weekends. I've lost my health and I have bearly any free time as I study qualifications on top of work to be recognised.
Please help me. How Can I get a Procurement Job with at least £45k in London with my experience.
I feel like I failed my family and myself. I am slowly falling into a depression.
I graduaded with top grades from top uni, with lots of extra curricular experience, I even got an award for my disseration at uni.
