✧ Ena's A Levels ✧

Hello!

I'm back for A-Levels in year 12 and my goal is to be getting As in all my A levels - English Lit, Art and Law.

GCSE's didn't go so well for me due to extenuating circumstances with mental health and this also means I'm repeating year 12 so this year is all about maintaining a balance between taking care of myself and still pushing myself.

Facts about me:
I play the flute (grade 7) and piano (grade 6), although I've been self taught for a couple years now. Just started self learning guitar and I sometimes make a poor and laughable attempt at singing lol

Favourite book is Little Women.

I love fashion. I love charity shopping and I have too many clothes for me own good. I like to dress in a 2000s style but honestly I'll wear whatever.

My music taste is anything, really.

I think that's all there is to know at the moment.

Let's do this!

Today I studied Law for an 1 hour and 30 minutes during my frees. I had Poetry, double Art and Law today.

Art: I did etching which was plenty of fun though nor my favourite technique. Too scratchy for me, personally and inking stresses me the hell out ಥ_ಥ
Apparently my book work is on a C at the minute which I am okay with, although I will be locking in super hard to get that A

Law: we did a summary sheet on Battery and started ABH.

English Lit: Covered the poem "Please Hold" and I got my essay back in which I got a B3. Again, aiming to improve this but I'm not too mad about it considering I was on Cs a couple weeks ago.

When I got home, I went straight to bed cuz I was tired but then I got up and played guitar for a few hours. I learnt some new chords and my barre chords are improving. Still suck at transitioning and reading tabs bit that's what's practice is for haha.

Songs I played (albeit in a halting and amateurish manner):

Family Jewels

Teen Idle

I don't wanna be me

Why'd you only call me when you're high

Wonderwall

Hermit the Frog

Lies

And some more but I don't remember lmao.

Ok, should probably sleep now!

Today I memorised key themes and points on Please Hold and Ode on a Grayson Perry Urn in preparation for an assessment. I studied for an hour and 15 minutes.

In double art I worked into my etchings then presented them.

In English we covered scene 9 of a Streetcar named Desire.

Tonight I plan to

Write some quick planning for themes shared between Please Hold and Ode on a Grayson Perry Urn

To read up on themes of the Streetcar named Desire for an assessment

Extra: Studied for a total of 2 hours and 10 minutes. Read 3/5 theme profiles on P and M tutor for Streetcar.

Finished book - One Day
5 stars
