Uni offers - St Andrews, Oxford and Edinburgh

Hi,
I have applied for History and Politics and History w Social Anthropology,
I was predicted A*AA
was just wondering if anyone had heard back from these 3 universities at all? ive had offers from Glasgow and Liverpool.

Hi, I have offers from St Andrews (AAA) and Edinburgh (AAB) for Classical Studies, Edi was on 31/10 and St A was 12/11. I think however those were weirdly early and they often come much later, and the time the offers takes to come means nothing at all about how much they want you! As for Oxford, I believe interview offers only begin to be sent out next week and are usually in the final week of November or the first week of December, so don’t worry if you don’t have a response. Good luck!!

Do you mean the May deadline for them to send offers by? It didn’t mention anything about that but on their website it says all offers will be sent by that May offer deadline as long as you have sent your application by the relevant application deadline (January for most courses). Hope that helps !!

Oh sorry I think I misunderstood your question haha! Yes my acknowledgment email also said most offers are sent after January, so it was a huge surprise to get mine in November! :smile:

Hey, I myself haven't heard back from Edinburgh, but my friend got an offer 4 days after applying!
As for St Andrews, i think for most courses they wait until January for equal consideration.

i’ve gotten an offer for edinburgh today after switching it out twice 😭😭, i initially applied last week Monday and then re applied on Friday 🤍 best of luck :smile:
