Would students use a café in Cardiff with a dedicated quiet study room?

Hi! I wanted to ask students in Cardiff a quick question.

I’ve noticed that it can be hard to find a quiet, comfortable place to study that isn’t the library or a busy café. I’m curious whether a space with a proper quiet study/meeting room would actually be useful to students.

Imagine a place that had:

📚 A separate silent study room

individual desks

power outlets

strong WiFi

a “library-style” quiet atmosphere

bookable slots for group meetings or revision sessions

A cosy café area
For grabbing coffee, snacks or brunch in between study sessions.

📖 Bookshelves with manga, comics, fiction & non-fiction
For people who like to read during breaks or to switch off for a bit.

🎮 A small gaming area (PCs + consoles)
Not the main focus just an optional chill-out area for after studying.

I’m mainly interested in whether the quiet study space is something students feel Cardiff needs.
Would you use something like this for revision, coursework or group projects?

Would love to hear honest thoughts!
