I recently came across this as an option for sixth form, but I can’t really get a feel for how good it really is based on their website and the fact I know no one who’s went there.

How good is it compared to Brampton, NCS , LAE etc.?

How good is it compared to Brampton, NCS , LAE etc.?

It depends on the sixth form, but here’s a simple comparison:

Brampton: very academic, high A-level results, small classes, strong uni destinations.

•

NCS: also academically strong, intense environment.

•

LAE: slightly more inclusive, still challenging.

Check the option you’re considering for: results, value added (progress from GCSEs), class sizes, teaching style, and student culture. If results and support are good, it could be a strong choice even if you don’t know anyone who’s been there.

I’d say it’s like the Brampton of north London except without the diversity. Most people have come from private schools, grammar, and Jewish schools. I go there, and am in year 13, love it!
