open university to degree apprenticeship?

i don’t have good a level results at all, but if i finished 1/2 years at the open university, and provided i had some good work experience, can i make the transition to a degree apprenticeship? if so how? i can’t find much information on this!!

for context i’m doing maths and physics and would want to make a pivot to mechanical engineering. i’ve done a mechanical engineering internship and also have some AutoCAD experience and am working towards certification!

Honestly, at this point its probably best to finish your degree and instead look for a graduate position in mechanical engineering, some apprenticeships are fun if you have started a degree as it can cause issues with the levy (not always and depends on subjects etc) Also engineering DAs are usually around 5 years opposed to 2 year grad placement thinking about progression with both being equally as competitive ,, if you have any questions about degree apprenticeships themselves lmk!
